Free People Girls on Bikes: The Complete January 2013 Catalog
Check out the January 2013 catalog from Free People featuring gorgeous girls on adorable bikes. I just can’t get enough, so I tracked down all the images from the catalog.
That’s my favorite image from the catalog. It almost makes me want to go back to my natural hair color. Almost.
This outfit looks gorgeous in the catalog, but I bet in real life it looks totally wackadoodle.
I love how smug she looks about her perfect thighs. Go on with yo’ bad self, girl!
Biking Walking your bike in the rain never looked so glamorous.
Thank you for stopping your bike to talk on the phone!
Chain guards and dress guards are the unsung heroes of this shoot.
As Kelly and I discovered, this is exactly the sort of thing you’ll see in Amsterdam if you take mushrooms and bike around (although the locals aren’t very tolerant):
Babies are the second-best fashion accessory, after bikes, natch.
The End.

The only thing annoying me right now is why are the crochet skirt guards attached to the spokes? They’re supposed to be attached from the fender then near the rear wheel bolt. :/
I know I mentioned dress guards in the post, but I think the crochet bits are just wheel decoration, à la knit bombing http://yarn-bombing.com/2013/01/07/yarn-bombing-a-bike/.
I agree with you, it would make much more sense to have crochet dress guards like these beauties from Simeli http://www.simeli.nl/welcome/page.php?ID=761&lang=1

I love your catalog. On the cover of January 2013, there are decorated bike wheels, I want to do this to my bike, what are the colorful things on the wheels and how are the put on? I love it
Hi Laura,
I think those decorations are crocheted semi-circle and then attached to the bike wheels.
You can attach them with zip ties, yarn, or wire.
Sturdy acrylic yarn would probably work best for this.
