Pitti Uomo Fall/Winter 2013 – Street Style
Pitti Uomo is a menswear trade show in Florence. It is held twice a year in a fort-turned-convention-center on the edge of the old city’s medieval walls. For four days, the narrow streets fill with editors, stylist, designers, and buyers from all over the world.
I went to my first Pitti as a Fashion Design student six years ago.
I distinctly remember the effect so many well-dressed men had on me and my classmates.
We were all a little boy-crazy after attending a de facto women-only university for so many years.
This year’s street style shots bring back so many fond memories. And new inspirations. How about a DIY based on that safety-pin & slashed sleeve detail? The coolest.
Wouldn’t that metal zipper be a cool DIY modification for a classic blazer?
