  1. What a great blog!
So many bike blogs from this side of the pond (I’m based in north-west England) are just a bit ‘blokey’ and tend to be weighted heavily towards cycle advocacy and campaigning. Which is all well and good but it’s so refreshing to find a site like yours which focuses on the simple pleasure of cycling, and looking fabulous while you do it!

    • Hi Megan,

I know what you mean. Cycle advocacy is really important and blah blah blah… But after a while, I felt really alienated by the focus on stats, bikes vs. cars, gear, and all that.

I’m so glad that you enjoy the blog! There are lots of us out there looking good on a bike. Glad to hear you’re keeping it stylish in NW England.

  2. Hi!
I thoroughly enjoy your blog, as I find it fun to wheel around Minnesota dressed to the nines.
So, bravo for starting this trend! Yay Bike Pretty!
Anyway, I am getting a new bike soon-yay!- and I will be able to mount stuff on the back. I would like to know your best advice of how to do this, so it is safe and efficient.
If you have any bags, totes, etc., ideas, please, let me know! Your advice would be a big help!
    Whoo for Bike Pretty!

    With much thanks,
    Kaitlin :)
