Bike Chic Outfit Ideas for a Chilly Spring

There is still a chill in the air. Colorful coats are a good start for outfit ideas. Looking forward to springtime, my color palette represents new growth: yellow, green, and blue.

But who am I kidding? I wear these colors all year long, but they only seem seasonally appropriate on Easter Sunday. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Yes. I own not one, but two vintage 50's/60's lemon yellow swing coats. I mean, when Copenhagen Cycle Chic says that yellow coats are a thing, I take that sh** seriously.

I found my dress while doing market research on skater dresses for work and ended up shopping for myself. Total Etsy impulse buy.

It's one of those expertly homemade items that are such a treat to find. I mean, just look at the pointy cuffs!

Tights from Old Navy. I found this almost-perfect pair of stacked-heel oxfords at Goodwill a few years ago.

I ended up wearing the heels down, but instead of getting a new pair, I just had them repaired. And they are as good as new, or new-to-me.

I definitely recommend seeking out a cobbler to have shoes repaired and maintained. It feels good to have your old favorites returned to you after getting rehabilitative care.
