Bike Pretty for Poppy Von Frohlich

Let's face it, Fall brings the best outfit possibilities. So I've been dying to share the Poppy Von Frohlich line with you since I learned about the San Francisco label at the end of Spring.
Unfortunately, the timing didn't seem right. Most of the Northern Hemisphere was shedding layers and "toning their beach bodies." (Here in SF, we were bundling up for Summer, our foggiest season. It's like we've been practicing Fall for the past 3 months.)
But then last Sunday, Trudy Hodges–head designer of Poppy Von Frohlich–invited me & the Bambeauty to model her latest: handmade leg warmers in scrumptious merino wool.
I also got to wear the adorable North Coast Frost coat. With a nice slim fit through the shoulders and a gentle flare through the hem, it's a perfectly feminine take on a classic duffle coat. The navy blue melton wool was soooo sooooofft, you guys. Not itchy at all. It was like being wrapped in a dark blue marshmallow.
The super-cute heels were on loan from Bryr Clogs, another SF label and currently in pre-production. Learn all about their story here.

This was also the first shoot I've done since I chopped my hair off. Ironically, the cut was inspired by Michelle Williams' style since she's been growing out her signature pixie cut.
I'm loving having short hair. And I love how the very talented Jen Siska captured all the fun we had in and around her gorgeous apartment.
Trudy & Jen, thank you so much for a perfect morning!
