Shop now: Iladora Apparel, Tandem NY, and Socksmith
The Bike Pretty Shop is growing! When I saw the great response to the Closca Newsboy and Bandbox Charleston helmets, I realized that I needed to find more great products that make living the active life more stylish.
So I am super excited to announce that we are now carrying Iladora Apparel, Tandem NY, and Socksmith in the Bike Pretty Shop.

Iladora Apparel
So you're heading to work and you've got to look profesh, but that means carrying a bag full of costume changes. Your gym clothes are too ratty for the office and your work clothes are too delicate for your commute. What to do?
Ilana, the designer behind Iladora, wants this problem to be a thing of the past. Her keen eye for style and unwavering drive to create something durable and practical have put Iladora's Perfect Bike Pant (also in black) in my regular rotation. The best part? That same mix of practicality and style is also available in the Iladora Mindy Skirt and the Lisa Top.
Keep your skirt from blowing up
Keep your pants out of your chain
Keep your top in place
Keep it with you just in case!
Tandem NY
On another day you're on your way to a picnic lunch in the park. You're looking snazzy in a vintage-style pleated-chiffon skirt. Suddenly the wind decides that everybody on the block needs to see your undergotchies. Before you know it you're pulling a Marilyn Monroe while biking up 4th st.
With the Tandem NY Skirt Weight this problem is no more. Clip the it to your skirt and kiss those embarrassing atmospheric pranks goodbye. You can also use the clip to keep your scarf, pant leg, or long dress from becoming food for your hungry bike chain. The skirt weight is tiny and can be easily carried at all times. Just in case.
Socksmith
If you're going to roll up your pant leg, you might as well have some cool socks to show off, amirite? Here at Bike Pretty HQ, we are a bunch of sock-obsessed weirdos. I'd been on the look out for the perfect pair to stock in our store. I think these are the one (technically, they do come in pairs).
Ellen and Eric Gil of Sockmith have been selling socks for over 25 years with a simple motto: "No boring socks." When I saw these Vintage Bike Socks (and thought about all my readers in the northeast with cold toes) I just needed to share them with everybody.
Thank you so much!
Last but not least, we feel so grateful for all the support that Bike Pretty readers and customers have given us as we experiment and grow. When I began the blog over two years ago, I wasn't sure that anybody would care about what it takes to ride a bike and look pretty. I was so wrong! You guys are the best!
